The Gallery At 94 is the newest contemporary art gallery to open in the heart of London's fastest growing art scene, Fitzrovia W1. Launched in October 2008 with its exciting first show, In Between Dreams, the gallery's first exhibition showcased two great dreamers, sculptor Thomas Ostenberg and etcher Mila Judge-Furstova. The second exhibition, It's Art.... Bitch, featured the works of Paul Normansell, Mikael Alacoque and Dormice. January 2009 saw the launch of the gallery's third show, Curatus - a group show featuring seven artists.
The gallery is now anticipating the opening of a new show, entitled Vanity Unfair. This latest exhibition will focus solely on the witty and perceptive work of Max Weidemann. Vanity Unfair will run from February 13th until March 29th 2009.
The Gallery At 94 is the premier place in London to discover the most diverse, controversial and talented rising stars in the art world. The Gallery At 94's managing director, Wayne Marc Godfrey, is excited by the growing buzz about the gallery and what lies ahead. "We have had such a fantastic response to the idea of the gallery, and have managed to attract some incredibly talented artists for our launch show in October and also the upcoming shows in November and December. It's great to be able to help exhibit rising British and International artists. Our philosophy is to find and nurture the next generation of artists and hopefully help make the stars of tomorrow."
